"post-vintage" is artwork released by vintage clothing store, rhythm.war*p.
Since 2017, I have released artworks with various artsits by infusion "present age" into vintage clothing for communicate with our future.
The concept is
"Fusion of old imagination and present imagination"
When dealing with vintage clothing, I often encounter brilliant ideas. They differ from fast fashion or trend style, they are like the communication beyond the time axis(war*p). In addition, I feel life (energy) in them.
When we listen to good old music, we remember the landscape or the smell when we listened to the music. "Feeling" can jump over time or space easy though object do not jump.
I believe that there is something sensuous in vintage clothing that inspire me.
And I wonder if vintage clothing has a power (energy).
So I am looking for the possibility with artists.
Ideas by vintage clothing and imagination of artists. Sympathy of those, this is a project "post-vintage".
